a brief statement to accompany my recent photography:

This body of work is part of an ongoing investigation of life. Up close, living beings have a certain intensity that I just can’t feel from a distance. The veins bulge, the crevices ooze, everything rises and falls, and circulation pulses through everywhere. We are beautiful, repulsive, and erotic all at once. When I look away, I find a world that is far too dry, contained, and civilized, in which we are rarely conscious of our vitality. I want to find hard proof that life does exist.

Sensory Profusion

I am teaching an ongoing online class called Sensory Profusion, through the Nomad Post School. Below is the synopsis.

Learn from Master of Pleasure Kanga Bell the manifestations and workings of sensory stimuli for humans in this exciting and enjoyable online class. Students will investigate the purpose of feeling, examine Pleasure's relationship with morality, and learn how to enhance their experience of the world.

- menstruating female-bodied people -> for vulva with menstrual blood - heavy bleeders encouraged
- people into scarification and other intentional bleeding -> for skin with blood
* all models aged 18-45 please

Photographs will be extreme closeups and will not reveal any identifying characteristics.
